Our Young Art Explorer's (YAE) program was established in the
Spring of 2006 under the guidance and creativity of Elissa Fletcher.
It is a program for youth, sponsored by the Woodlands Art League,
intended to promote the exploration of creativity, and to foster the
understanding and appreciation of Art and Nature.

Keeping a spirit of play and exploration, the participant will enjoy
making Art, learning craft, and connecting with Nature. They will
explore different media, techniques, and processes to
communicate ideas and experiences, reflect on and express the
wonders of Nature, or just visit their imaginations.

The program is designed as a road to discovery of artistic
accomplishment, paved with a mix of information, imagination,
inspiration, and opportunity.

The program's motto -

>>>
EXPLORE>>>DISCOVER>>>IMAGINE>>>EXPRESS<<<

-defines these objectives.

Since 2006, some of the events YAE has been involved in are:

Market Street Art Fair
