The Lone Star Art Guild is a non-profit organization which was
started in Brenham, Texas on April 17, 1961. It is made up of any
art leagues that wish to be a member within a 200 mile radius of
Houston, Texas. The object of the guild is to advance the study
and dissemination of fine art in all of its forms by promoting the
appreciation of art and fine craftsmanship through workshops,
lectures, demonstrations and exhibits.  Once a year, LSAG holds an
Annual Convention in which award winners in guild member judged
shows during the year compete for awards.  It's "the best of the
best".  The Woodlands Art League, Tomball Art League and
Northwest Art League will be the hosts of the 2010 LSAG Convention

which will be held in May at the Conroe Convention Center.
