Mini Workshop: Noon to 1:30pm "The Business of Art"
Presented by Julie Verville, Ardest Gallery
Julie Verville currently serves as Gallery Director and Curator for Ardest Gallery, a fine arts gallery located in The Woodlands, Texas. The gallery currently showcases works by over 60, top 2D and 3D Texas artists. The gallery hosts 8 juried shows per year along with specialty shows, events and pop-ups supporting local artists. In 2023, Julie was awarded a micro-grant from The Woodlands Arts Council for a program she facilitates for youth in the community entitled "Art & Lit" and is actively involved within the local art community.
Prior to serving in her current role, Verville worked as a national brand stylist under the business name Crowning Details, producing content for many familiar brands. Her work has been published numerous times in national print publications such as Minted. Following her earlier executive finance career, Verville served as an Adjunct Professor at The University of Houston, teaching sales.
Julie is an avid art collector of nearly 20 years, with the majority of her art acquisitions originating within the Texas art scene. She is the proud mother of 4 and currently resides in The Woodlands, Texas.
