Paint out Information

What is a Paint-out?

A paint-out is when a group of artists meet-up in a location to paint and draw together.  When they meet at a scenic, inspiring outdoor location it's called a "plein air paint-out".  It's a great way to share your talents, learn from others and enjoy the company!

Organizers

Pam Otfinowski and Nana Midcap currently organize plein air paint-outs for the Woodlands Art League.  Pam and Nana research new and interesting places for the WAL members and guests to meet-up.  They then follow-up with contacting site representatives, scheduling, promoting and managing registrations.  Paint-outs are scheduled during the best weather months to avoid extreme weather conditions. There is $5 fee for members, $10 non-members and registration is required.  When a paint-out is scheduled, an email is sent to members with registration details.
