Project Beacon Volunteer opportunities (ongoing)

Through a grant awarded by the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, TWAL is sharing an art project with Project Beacon clients once each month. Project Beacon is a non profit that provides services to adults on the autism spectrum. Lesson plans are created by Teri Valentine and approved by Project Beacon staff, and all supplies are provided. We are looking for volunteers who would assist Teri once a month in providing these art opportunities - all you need to bring is yourself and the desire to help folks create a piece of art.

Classes are typically one Friday a month from 11:30a-3:00pm, and can be found on the TWAL calendar.   Note: This project runs through Spring 2027, so there will be plenty of opportunities to help make a difference!
